Special Activities for Inspection and Maintenance ofLife Rafts and Life Jackets
- We inspect the exterior of liferafts for signs of damageor wear, including tears, holes or fading of the material.
- We check lifeboat straps and buckles to ensure theyare secure and in good condition.
- We inspect the lifeboats' inflation system, including theCO2 cylinder, pressure gauge and inflation valve, toensure they are installed correctly and in good workingorder.
- We test the lifeboats' inflation system to confirm thatthey inflate quickly and fully.
- We inspect the inside of lifeboats to ensure theyare clean, dry and free of debris or damage.
- We check the survival equipment included inliferafts, such as emergency rations, water, first aidkits and signaling devices, to ensure they arepresent and in good condition.
- We issue certificates to guarantee the optimalfunctioning of the lifeboats and the work carriedout.
